Introduction
This document describes how to disable Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) Mode Ciphers on the Cisco
Email Security Appliance (ESA). A security audit/scan might report that an ESA has a Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) v3/Transport Layer Security (TLS) v1 Protocol Weak CBC Mode
Vulnerability.
