Use this command to configure the priority of packets that defer an off-channel scan:

config wlan channel-scan defer-priority [packet priority value 0-7] [enable | disable] 
[WLAN ID]

For example, to configure defer priorities of 4 and 6 on WLAN 2, you enter these commands:

config wlan channel-scan defer-priority 4 enable 2

config wlan channel-scan defer-priority 6 enable 2

The default setting for all new WLANs and upgrades from earlier software releases is priority 
5 (video) and 6 (voice).

Use this command to configure the minimum number of milliseconds that must elapse without 
the appearance of a specified packet before the access point radios begin an off-channel scan:

config wlan channel-scan defer-time [milliseconds 0-60,000] [WLAN ID]

For example, to configure a defer time of 500 ms on WLAN 2, you enter this command:

config wlan channel-scan defer-time 500 2

The default setting for all new WLANs and upgrades from earlier software releases is a 
defer-time of 100 ms.

Use the show wlan command to check your configuration:

show wlan [WLAN ID]

This example shows how the channel scan entries might appear in the command output:
