This section identifies the minimum system requirements for the GTPP Storage Server. This section also describes any 
specific software requirement for a particular application installation. 

  The hardware required for these components may vary depending on the number of clients that 

require access, other components managed, and other variables. 

 

 

 

Sun Microsystems Netra™ T5220 server 

 

1 x 1.2GHz 8 core UltraSPARC T2 processor with 16GB RAM 

 

2 x 146GB SAS hard drives 

 

Internal CD-ROM drive 

 

AC or DC power supplies depending on your application 

 

Quad Gigabit Ethernet interfaces (10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet) 

  It is recommended that you have separate interfaces (in IPMP) for mediation 

device and chassis. Also, for given IPMP, the two interfaces should be on different cards. 

 

Operating Environment: 

 

Solaris 9 installed using the End User System support 64-bit software group with the latest available 

patches from Sun Microsystems. 

 

Solaris 10 with Patch number 137137-09 dated on or after July 16, 2007 to Nov 2008. 

 

PCI-based video card or Keyboard-Video-Mouse (KVM) card (optional) 

  If you plan to install software and maintain the servers and applications remotely, it is recommended 

that you use an X-Windows client. 

 

Hardware and software requirement mentioned in this section is for single node in cluster. For additional node 
additional number of hardware and software are required.
