Cisco Cisco Packet Data Gateway (PDG)

 

This command enables/disables Diameter Credit Control Session Failover. When enabled, the secondary peer is used in 
the event the main peer is unreachable.

Exec > ACS Configuration > Credit Control Configuration 

active-charging service service_name > credit-control

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[local]host_name(config-dcca)# 

 

[ default | no ] diameter session failover 

 

Configures this command with the default setting. 
Default: Depends on the 

 configuration 

 

If the primary server is not reachable, failover is not triggered and the session is torn down. No failover action 
is taken. 

Use this command to enable/disable Diameter Credit Control Session Failover. 
The 

  configuration comes into effect only if 

 is present in 

the configuration. The failover can be overridden by the server in the response message, and it takes 
precedence.
