The Exec Mode is the initial entry point into the command line interface system. Exec mode commands are useful in 
troubleshooting and basic system monitoring. 

 

Exec 

The following prompt is displayed in the Exec mode: 

[local]host_name# 

  The commands or keywords/variables that are available are dependent on platform type, product 

version, and installed license(s).
