IuH User-Plane Transport Bearer Handling Support
Support for transfer of CS as well as PS data over IP on the IuH interface:
3GPP TS 25.467 V8.0.0. (2008-12): 3rd Generation Partnership Project; Technical Specification Group Radio
Access Network; UTRAN architecture for 3G Home NodeB; Stage 2 (Release 8)
HNB-GW supports GTP-U v1 for PS traffic transport and RTP/RTCP for CS traffic transport on IuH interface. HNB-
GW terminates the GTPU tunnels and RTP sessions at itself for each tunnel/session between CN and HNB.

LAI-based FAP Roaming Restriction Support
In order to restrict the indirect or remote consequences, like overcharging due to roaming, the restriction on physical
movement of FAPs has been supported.
movement of FAPs has been supported.
The FAP roaming restriction works on mcaro location area identity (LAI) configuration in the HNB-GW per HNB-GW
service. A macro LAI is the combination of PLMN ID and LAC. The support to the above mentioned restriction works
as follows:
service. A macro LAI is the combination of PLMN ID and LAC. The support to the above mentioned restriction works
as follows:
During the HNB registration request, HNB sends the HNB location information, macro coverage information,
and UTRAN Cell ID to the RADIUS server via Session Manager.
If the mcaro LAI in the information passed from HNB matches the pre-configured macro LAI list at the session
manager, the authentication request is passed to the RADIUS server.
If the macro LAI in the inormation passed from HNB does not match the pre-configured macro LAI list at the
session manager, the HNB is rejected with cause “Unauthorized-Location”.
Multiple HNB-GW Service Support
Support for multiple HNB-GW service on same chassis in one or multiple context is provided with this feature support.
With support of multiple HNB-GW service on same chassis operator can utilize the various combination of subscriber
access network and connectivity model.

This feature can also be utilized if operator wants to use specific HNB-GW services for residential and enterprise
service on the same chasiss.
