Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[local]host_name(config)# 

 

get port info [slot/port ] [ | { grep grep_options | more } ]

 

 

Generates an XML-formatted display of information for the port specified by its chassis slot and card port 
number. 

| { grep grep_options | more }

 

Pipes (sends) the output of this command to the specified command. You must specify a command to which 
the output of this command will be sent.

Generates a display of IP-based information in XML format. The output can be copied and pasted into
