Enables or disables PPP payload fragmentation. 

 

PDSN 

 

Security Administrator, Administrator 

 

Exec > Global Configuration > Context Configuration > PDSN Service Configuration 

configure > context context_name > pdsn-service service_name

 

Entering the above command sequence results in the following prompt: 

[context_name]host_name(config-pdsn-service)# 

 

[ no | default ] fragment ppp-data 

 

Disables the fragmentation of ppp data. 

 

Default enables ppp data fragmentation. 

This command is to indicate to the RP module to NOT fragment PPP payloads being sent to the PCF, if the 
total packet size (PPP+GRE+IP) exceeds 

 bytes. 

Disabling fragmentation may cause the 

 to perform outer IP fragmentation of the outgoing packet, if 

the resulting packet exceeds the MED MTU. 

 

The following command enables PPP payload fragmentation.
