STEP 1
Select SNMP > Groups in the navigation pane.
STEP 2
Click Add to create a new row in the SNMPv3 Groups table.
STEP 3
Check the box for the new group and click Edit.
STEP 4
Configure the parameters:

Group Name—A name that identifies the group. The default group names are RO and
RW.

Security Level—Sets the security level for the group, which can be one of these options:

Write Views—The write access to MIBs for the group, which can be one of these

STEP 5
Click Save. The group is added to the SNMPv3 Groups list and your changes are saved to the
Startup Configuration.

To remove a group, select the group in the list and click Delete.
