Edit preset stations

Edit station information

 In 

the 

FM RADIO mode, press 

FAVORITE  on the radio play screen.

  In the list of preset stations, 



Select the station to be edited;



Press a/A to start editing;



Press  /  to select the entry 
location; press  /  repeatedly to 
select desired letters.

 Press 

OK?BACK to 

discard the changes. 

Listen to FM radio

 On 

MCi298,tap 

[FM radio] on Home 

screen.

  Tune to your desired station (see ‘Tune to 

FM radio stations’ on page 33).


To select a preset station:
press FAVORITE during radio play.

  To mute/unmute the radio play

RDS (Radio Data System) is a service 
that allows FM stations to show additional 
information. 
When tuning to an RDS station, you can see 
the following information on the screen:



Station name;



Scrolling text (RDS text), if available.

For optimal reception, fully extend and adjust 
the position of the antenna.

  On MCi298, tap [FM radio] on Home 

screen.


Or, on Home screen, press  /  and 
OK on the remote control.

 In 

[FM radio], select [Auto store]. 

 

» MCi298 starts to search for available 

stations automatically. 

 

» Radio play starts and a maximum of 20 

stations are stored as presets when the 
auto tune is complete. 

 

» The preset stations are listed in the 

order of reception strength.

  To select a preset station, go to [Presets].

Manual tuning

 In 

[FM radio], select [Manual tuning].

  Press and hold  /   to start auto tuning. 

 

» You tune to the next available station
