2. 

Insert one end of the Y-configured cable at the 3-pin connector location on 

the laser module (double-wide only) connector location next to the optical 

fiber. 
Important:  This will activate the laser in the laser module, therefore the 

connection should be made after the optical fiber connections have been 

made and secured in the fiber management tray. 
Note:  The single-wide laser module does not require a connection to the Y-

configured cable.

Insert the other end of the Y-configured cable in the J11 connector location on 

the optical interface board. 
Note:  The following illustration shows the Y-configured DC connection.
