  Get Started with Cisco WebEx Social
Availability 
Let others know your availability through the course of your work day. Click the down-arrow icon next 
to your name, and select your current availability.
Note
This feature is available only if Cisco WebEx Social is integrated with the instant messaging 
solution of your organization.
Note
If Cisco WebEx Social is set up to use the integrated chat client, availability also sets your chat 
availability. If Cisco WebEx Social is set to use an external chat client, your Cisco WebEx Social 
availability is completely independent from your desktop chat availability.
Updates
Post an update to let your followers or community comembers know about anything you want.
1.
Open the updates bubble. You can do this from various places:
From anywhere in Cisco Social, click the down-arrow icon next to +Post in the global 
navigation bar and select Share an Update.
In MyView, click in the edit box at the top of the Streams application.
On your Profile page, click in the edit box at the top of the Streams tab.
