The OptoStar II forward receiver module uses a standard 19-in OptoStar II chassis.
The flexibility of the platform is greatly improved by the fact that a single chassis
can hold both forward receiver modules and other OptoStar II modules. 14
forward receiver modules can be placed in one standard 3 RU OptoStar II chassis.
It can receive signals from broadband or narrowband transmitter module, which
facilitates network running.
