7.4 Hard Drive Activity LED
When a drive is first plugged in, the green LED turns on and stays on signifying that the drive
has been detected. The green LED will then blink if there is activity to the drive and a RAID
Controller SRCS14L with 2x5 LED header has been installed. The LEDs are 4-terminal dual-
color (yellow and green) LEDS that are physically located on the backplane.

7.5 Hard Drive Fault LED
Hard drive fault indication is not currently supported as per the SATA 1.0 Specification.
However, if a fault occurs on a drive and the backplane is connected to a RAID Controller
SRCS14L with the 2x5 LED header installed, the green LED will turn off when a fault occurs.
