Section 6: Music
Music Player
Music player plays music and other audio files that you copy 
from your computer.
You can listen to music from your device’s built-in speakers, 
through a wired headset or via Bluetooth stereo headset or 
speakers. For more information, see “Pairing with a 
Bluetooth Device”
 on page 71.
1. From the Home screen, touch 
 Apps 
➔ 
 Music player.
2. Music player searches for music on your device and 
installed memory card, then displays it. Browse music 
by touching songs, albums, and playlists. Touch a song 
or playlist to begin playback. Use the tabs on the left 
side of the screen to change the view of your music 
library.
3. During playback, use the sound and playback controls:
• Touch 
 to mark the song as a favorite.
• Touch   to view information about the current song.
• Touch and drag in the scale to set volume. You can also press 
the Volume Key on the side of the device to adjust volume.
• Touch  
 to enable stereo sound.
• Touch 
 to launch AllShare, to share music with another 
device via Wi-Fi.
• Touch and drag in the progress bar to scan forward or 
backward through the current song.
• Touch 
 to switch between shuffle and list order.
• Set the repeat options by touching  
 to repeat the current 
song,    
 to repeat all songs until you stop playback, or 
 to play all songs once then stop.
• Touch 
 to advance to the next song. Touch and hold 
 
to scan forward through the current song.
• Touch 
 to go back to the previous song. Touch and hold 
 to scan backward through the current song.
• Touch 
 to pause playback. Touch 
 to resume.
Tip: If you switch to another application while playing music, 
touch 
 in the System bar to display playback controls.
