1.   From the Wi-Fi network screen, tap Add Wi-Fi network. 

2.   Enter the Network SSID (the name of your Wireless 

Access Point). 

3.   Tap the Security field and select a security option. This 

must match the current security setting on the target 

WAP. 

4.   Enter your WAP’s password (if the WAP is secured). 

5.   Tap Connect to store the new information and connect 

to the target WAP. 

Note: The prompt to enter the WAP key only displays if this is 

the first time to connect the secured wireless network. 
The WAP key is required if the device is reset to factory 
default settings. 

1.  From a Home screen, tap 

Menu and then tap 

Settings ➔ 

Connections. 

2.  Locate Wi-Fi. Tap the 

ON/OFF button to turn it On 

or Off. 

– or – 

Activate and Deactivate Wi-Fi from the Notification bar 

by swiping downward from the top of the screen, then 

tapping the Wi-Fi symbol.

Note: Use of wireless data connections such as Wi-Fi and

Bluetooth can reduce battery life and use times.
