Vertical lines, 

horizontal lines, or 

snow appears on 

screen, or screen is 

completely dark; 

startup tone is 

normal

1 Perform monitor adjustments.

2 Replace monitor.

3 Replace logic board. Retain customer’s SIMMs or DIMMs.

4 Replace power supply.

Video will not play or 

system hangs when 

you attempt to run 

video in units with 

MPEG card 

1 If chip at location U12 on MPEG card displays number 

341SO205, check all connections.

2 If chip at location U12 on MPEG card does not display 

number 341SO205, replace MPEG card
