to play DVD Video discs, you will need to purchase a PCI 

decoder card.

These two extensions will allow a DVD disc to be mounted on 

the desktop. DVD discs use a format called universal disc 

format (UDF) to store data on the discs. All DVD discs are 

formatted UDF; this includes DVD-VIDEO and DVD-ROM 

discs.
