5.1 fIrsT TIMe usage: TunIng dIgITal TV Channels
Before you can use your ARCHOS 704 TV to watch Digital TV for the first time, you will need to
tune it to receive the available programs in your area. You may also need to do this when you enter
a different coverage area, for instance when you travel a long distance.
CoNNECtING tHE ANtENNAS
Your ARCHOS 704 TV comes with a flap antenna system. Inside the flap, there are two amplified antennas.
All these elements are mounted together in one piece and cannot be separated.

until it clicks!
SCANNING foR CHANNELS
In the Home Screen, tap on the
Digital TV
icon to highlight it, then tap on it again to enter the Digital TV
mode. The first time, the “No list of channels available” message will appear.
Tap on
Tap on
OK
: the device will scan for the available channels in your coverage area (this can take a few minutes).
Your tuning will be kept for next time. You can now watch TV!
