Reason :  

 

Measure to prevent the grounding plate 3 (reader unit) from coming into contact with 
other parts. 
As an adverse effect of the gasket, which has been implemented as a measure 
for noise, the deflection of the grounding plate 3 becomes larger, and the arm of 
the fixing drive release lever comes into contact with the tip of the grounding plate 
3. Consequently, the drive release lever fails to return to the home position, and 
the fixing drive fails to be conveyed, resulting in a jam.  
 

Outline :  

 

The tip of the member part FB6-0106 on the PLATE, GROUNDING FF6-1455 is 
cut diagonally. In addition, the shape of the SHEET, MOTOR FB6-2908 is 
changed to avoid the grounding plate's sliding. 
 
Interchangeability of the PLATE, GROUNDING FF6-1455 in terms of servicing 
In case the tip of the PLATE, GROUNDING FF6-1455 (FB6-0106) has already been 
cut diagonally, replace only the PLATE, GROUNDING FF6-1455. 
 
In case the tip of the PLATE, GROUNDING FF6-1455 (FB6-0106) is curved in 
shape, change the PLATE, GROUNDING FF6-1455 and the SHEET, MOTOR 
FB6-2908 (set up this time) at the same time.
