Changing the Performance Setting
You can change the memory configuration that affects power consumption during Normal mode.
To change the performance setting

Click Start, point to All Programs, and click VAIO Control Center.
The VAIO Control Center window appears.

Double-click Power Management and Performance.
The Performance window appears.

Select Memory bus: 400 MHz Priority is given to saving power.
By default, Memory bus: 533 MHz Priority is given to performance is selected.
