Change in MICON

 

 

 

  1) The unit regards a CD-DA Disc that has a very low reflection 

ratio as a CD-RW Disc. As a result, the servo-gain increases four times, and 
sometimes, the unit is incapable of playing the disc.  
2) The unit is incapable of reading only the TOC on the 80th Track. 
 

 
Solution:  

We changed the MICON (IC502) from a CXP82052-140Q 

Ver3.00

 

to CXP82052-146Q 

Ver2.04

.  Therefore, please apply the modification when the 

symptoms occur.

 
• How to confirm the Version of the MICON: 

1) While holding "OPEN/CLOSE" and "REPEAT" buttons down simultaneously, 
press Power Switch button. The FL Tube Display indicates all modes.  
2) The Version appears on the Display when the "DISC SKIP" button is pressed. 
(Example: 2.04)
