Monitor Position Adjustment
Before Using the Display Unit
Select “VTR1” when a mobile video deck, video camera or mobile DVD player is con-
nected.
Select “VTR2” when a game player is connected.
Press [POWER].
The STANDBY indicator lights is green.
Press  [POWER] again to switch off the
power.
The STANDBY indicator lights is red.

Open the Display Unit
Push the display release button (OPEN)
until the display is unlocked.
Press the button with one hand while
holding the display with the other.
Display Unit Lateral Angle Adjustment
WARNING:
Do not insert hands, fingers or foreign objects into the unit while the display is mov-
ing. Inserting your hands, fingers or foreign objects into the unit can cause injuries
and damage to the unit.
Hold the display unit by the upper half of it, and move it carefully without applying
undue force.

Slide the display unit by both hands until a
comfortable viewing angle is reached.

Close the Display Unit
Move the display unit by both hands until the display release button is locked.
Preparations:
Turn the power of the player connected to this unit to ON.
Turn the power of the headphones to ON.
Notes:
When RCA cords have been connected to this unit, secure them along the roof panel of
the car so that they will not dangle down or become easily disconnected.
Take care to ensure that the RCA cords will not become wrapped around your hands or
neck since this may cause an accident.
Notes:
Check that there are no children in the space around the display unit when opening or
closing it.
Always use both hands to open or close the display unit.
Always check that the display release button is locked after closing the display unit.
If the display unit cannot be locked, be absolutely sure to consult your dealer and reme-
dy the situation.
You can swivel it to the left and right, 30e
each way. 
Hold the display unit by the non-slip part in
the upper half of it and adjust its lateral angle.
