You can program a 4-digit handset/base unit PIN (Personal Identification Number). The factory preset
is 0000. Changing the PIN may prevent the unauthorised use of your unit by another person.
Make sure that the power is ON (p. 13) and the unit is in the standby mode.
Setting the PIN
On the handset

Once you have programmed the PIN, you cannot confirm it. We recommend you write down the
PIN. If you do forget it, please consult the Panasonic Customer Care Helpline.
