Sets the tape length of the cassette you use:

Power save
ON : The video recorder's display unit is off. In Power save mode, you cannot 
  change the VCR display setting. To control an external appliance via AV2 
  Scart socket, the VCR first needs to be switched on.

: Factory setting; you can change the VCR display setting.

: The video recorder's display is dimmed.
ON
The video recorder's display unit is on at normal brightness.
Available only if the unit is not in Power save mode.
