15  HDD easy playback display
This is displayed during easy playback from 
the hard drive. When playback performance 
deteriorates, the display blinks for 3 minutes. 
When the hard drive is damaged or vibrations 
are added to the hard drive, the display may 
become incorrect.
16  Repeat playback setting display
This appears when “ON” has been selected for 
the “REPEAT PLAY” item on the setting menu 
“PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS”.
1  Remaining battery charge display
As the remaining charge drops, the display 
changes in the following sequence:

When the charge is low, “LOW BATTERY” 
appears on the LCD monitor.
 
(While the AC adapter is being used, a display 
other than 
 may appear: this is normal 
and is not a sign of trouble.)
1  Media information displays
The card slots in which P2 cards have been 
inserted and the basic information on the cards 
are displayed.

P  : Write-protected card
F  : No memory remaining
X  : Card cannot be recognized

used if it is formatted properly)
1  Remaining media memory displays
The amount of memory remaining on the 
card in the slot targeted for recording is 
displayed when “ONE CARD” is selected for 
the “P2CARD REMAIN” item on the setting 
menu “DISPLAY SETUP”. The target slot 
can be switched to another slot using “SLOT 
SEL” assigned to [USER]. When “TOTAL” is 
selected, the total amount of memory remaining 
on the two cards is displayed.
0  Monitor volume level meter
When 
 is pressed, the level of the 
volume which is output from the speaker and 
headphone jack is displayed.
You can adjust the volume level using the   
and   buttons. 
During variable-speed playback, while holding 
down [ALT/3], press   and   button to adjust 
the volume.
Major warning displays
This section provides major warning displays 
which are displayed on the LCD monitor. For other 
warning displays, check the displayed messages.
C
CANNOT ACCESS!
Data cannot be accessed because of a 
problem in the content or for some other 
reason. Restore the media or clips to the 
normal operating status, and then use the 
data.
CANNOT ACCESS CARD!
An error occurred while accessing the P2 
card. Check the P2 card.
CANNOT ACCESS TARGET!
An error occurred while accessing the 
connection destination target. Check the 
hard drive status and connections.
CANNOT DELETE!
Data cannot be deleted because of a 
mismatch in the content versions. Ensure 
that the same content version as the device 
is used.
CANNOT FORMAT!
The P2 card cannot be formatted because of 
a problem. Check the P2 card.
