When outputting the audio signal from the [LINE1
OUT] terminal to another audio device, you can
select the audio level.
Press [OUTPUT LEVEL].
• Each time you press [OUTPUT LEVEL], the dis-
play changes as follows.
“OUTPUT LOW” : the initial setting
“OUTPUT HIGH”
NOTE
• You cannot use this function when a device con-
nected to the [LINE1 IN] terminal is selected as
the source.

When you start analog playback of a portable digi-
tal audio player connected to the [LINE1 IN] termi-
nal while the main unit is off or another source is
selected, the main unit automatically turns on and
the source changes to the connected portable digi-
tal audio player. This function is called the quick
portable link function (QP LINK).
Press [QP LINK] repeatedly to select
“QP LINK ON” in the display window.
• To deactivate QP LINK, select “QP LINK OFF”.
■When “QP LINK ON” is selected
1
Connect a portable digital audio
player to the [LINE1 IN] terminal
using an audio cable.
2
Start playback on the portable dig-
ital audio player.
• If the main unit is off, the main unit automati-
cally turns on.
• The source from the portable digital audio
player is automatically selected, “LINE1” is
displayed and sound is produced.
• The QP LINK function is not activated when
“DISPLAY OFF” is selected. (Refer to
page 18.)
NOTE
• QP LINK works when the “QPL” indicator is dis-
played.
• Even when “QP LINK ON” is selected, the “QPL”
indicator may not light up. For example, when
you finish step 2, stop playback and then select
another device as the source, the “QPL” indica-
tor turns off for 30 seconds. At this time, how-
ever, you can use QP LINK by disconnecting the
stereo mini plug cable and connecting it again.
