(1) Fit the lash adjuster onto the rocker arm without allowing

diesel fuel to spill out.

(1) Locate the camshaft dowel pins as illustrated.

(2) Apply a 3 mm thick continuous bead of sealant to the

bottom surface of the beam camshaft cap along the

groove.

(3) Apply sealant to the illustrated position of the cylinder

head upper surface.

(4) Install the beam camshaft cap gasket.
