Applicator Interface
. The applicator interface allows the print engine to be controlled by and its
status monitored from an external controller. The DC/DC circuitry converts the system’s +32
V DC to +28 V DC to maintain compatibility with the existing applicator interface. The
applicator interface is contained on a printed circuit board mounted as an option in an
expansion slot on the back of the print engine. Connection to the main logic board is via a SPI
port.
