Current Sensor for Room Solution Boxes

Current Sensor for Room
Solution Boxes: CNXRMCS
Introduction
The Current Sensor for Room Solution Boxes, CNXRMCS, senses the
current from a television (9” color or larger) or other high current
electronic devices. Since most infrared (IR) remotes send the same IR
signal to turn a device ON or OFF (no discrete on and off power
commands), the CNXRMCS lets the control system know whether a
device is ON or OFF by indicating a high (ON, which indicates high
current draw) or low (OFF, which indicates low or no current draw)
digital signal to a Room Solution Box, such as the CNXRMC,
CNXRMCLV, or to an I/O port on any control processor.
NOTE: The CNXRMCS is not designed for use with low power devices
such as a VCR, DVD, DSS, etc.
