The current version of Parental Control monitors communication via the following IM clients:

Windows Live Messenger (MSN);

Psi; 

 

Miranda; 

 

AIM;

Jabber. 

Some IM clients, such as Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk, use encrypted connections. To scan the traffic generated 
by those programs, you have to enable scanning for secure connections (see page 

). 

 

1.  Open the main application window and select the Parental Control section in the left part of the window. 

2.  In the right part of the window, select the user account on which a restriction should be imposed. 

3.  In the left part of the window that opens, select the Instant Messaging section. 

4.  In the right part of the window, check the Enable control box.  

5.  Create a list of allowed and blocked contacts.
