Configuring the Printer Driver Settings

Windows Common Settings

Quality Tab

1. Halftone (For Windows 98/Windows Me/Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 only)

Select either None or Dither. (For Windows 98/Windows Me only)
Select None, Dither or OS Halftone. (For Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows Server
2003 only)

2. Resolution

Select the print resolution (300 dpi / 600 dpi). (See Note 1)

3. Contrast

Adjust the contrast of print images. (Note: Only if Halftone is set to None.)

Displays the copyright, the version of the printer driver files.

Click to restore all items in this window to the default settings.

NOTE

1. dpi (dots per inch) represents the number of dots contained in one inch. The larger the value,

the higher the resolution.
