Taking a Picture with Face Recognition Function
Face Recognition is a function which finds a face resembling a registered face and
prioritises focus and exposure automatically. Even if the person is located towards the
back or on the end of a line in a group photo, the camera can still take a clear picture.
•
The following functions will also work with the Face Recognition
function.
In Recording Mode
–
Display of corresponding name when camera detects a registered
face
¢
(if name has been set for the registered face)
In Playback Mode
–
Display of name and age (if information has been registered)
–
Selective playback of pictures chosen from pictures registered with Face Recognition
([Category Selection]
(P91)
in [Filtering Play]).
¢
Names of up to 3 people are displayed. Precedence for the names displayed when taking
pictures is determined according to the order of registration.
Note
•
During the Burst Mode, [Face Recog.] picture information can be attached to only the first
picture.
•
[Face Recog.] will find a face similar to the registered face, and does not guarantee secure
recognition of a person.
•
Face Recognition may take more time to select and recognise distinctive facial features than
regular Face Detection.
•
Even when Face Recognition information has been registered, pictures taken with [Name] set
to [OFF] will not be categorised by Face Recognition in [Category Selection] ([Filtering Play]).
•
Even when Face Recognition information is changed
(P72)
, Face Recognition
information for the pictures already taken will not be changed.
For instance, if the name is changed, pictures recorded before the change will not be
categorised by Face Recognition in [Category Selection] ([Filtering Play]).
•
To change the name information of the pictures taken, perform the [REPLACE] in
[Face Rec Edit]
(P107)
.
•
[Face Recog.] cannot be used in the following cases.
–
In [Panorama Shot], [Night Scenery], [Handheld Night Shot] and [Food] in Scene Mode
–
When recording motion pictures

KEN
podešava prioritet izoštravanja i ekspozicije.
Tijekom reprodukcije
- Prikaz imena i dobi (ako su ti podaci memorirani)
- Selektivna reprodukcija fotografija odabranih između fotografija memoriranim pomoću
funkcije prepoznavanja lica ([Category Selection] (Odabir kategorije
(str. 91)
u funkciji
[Filtering Play] (Filtrirana reprodukcija)).
* Prikazuju se imena do troje ljudi. Prednost imena prikazanih pri snimanju fotografija
određuje se prema redoslijedu memoriranja.
Napomena
•
Čak i kad se prepoznavanje lica promijeni
(str. 72)
fotografije snimljene prije promjene u načinu [Category Play].
• Da biste promijenili podatke o snimljenim fotografijama, odaberite [REPLACE] u [Face
Rec Edit]
(str. 107)
.
• Funkciju prepoznavanja lica nije moguće koristiti u sljedećim situacijama:
- u scenskim načinima [Panorama Shot], [Night Scenery], [Handheld Night Shot] i [Food]
Funkcija [Face Recog.] automatski će prijeći na [ON] (Uklj.) kad se registrira slika lica.

Playback
Note
•
The operating times and number of recordable pictures will differ according to the
environment and the operating conditions.
For example, in the following cases, the operating times will shorten and the number of
recordable pictures is reduced:
–
At low temperature or in cold locations such as ski resorts or at high altitude
¢
¢
Residual image may show on the LCD display when in use. The battery performance
will decrease, so keep the camera and spare batteries warm by placing them in a
warm place such as inside your cold protection gear or clothing. Performance of
batteries and LCD monitor will restore to normal when the temperature returns to
normal.
–
When using [LCD Mode].
–
When operations such as flash and zoom are used repeatedly.
•
When the operating time of the camera becomes extremely short even after properly charging
the battery, the life of the battery may have expired. Buy a new battery.
Playback time
Approx. 240 min
