Panasonic Ni-MH battery 
performance during use of a 
Bluetooth headset
When the batteries are fully charged, 
operating time of the handset using a 
Bluetooth headset varies depending on 
usage.
– Continuous use of the headset: 5 
hours max.
– Not in use: 50 hours max.
Important:

If you do not use a Bluetooth headset, 
it is better to turn off the Bluetooth 
setting to save the battery life of your 
handset (page 55).
Registering a headset to a 
handset
Important:

Make sure that the Bluetooth headset 
is not connected to any other 
Bluetooth device.

Your headset:
Set your headset to registration 
mode.

Refer to your headset operating 
instructions.

Handset:

Enter your headset PIN.

Typically, default PIN is “0000”
Refer to your headset operating 
instructions.

Press M, then wait until a long 
beep sounds.

When registration is complete, g 
is displayed. You are ready to use 
the headset.
Connecting/disconnecting a 
headset
If you cannot connect the headset and 
handset by using the headset, you can 
connect by using the handset. To use 
your headset with another Bluetooth 
device such as a mobile phone, you may 
need to disconnect it from the handset.

Make sure that the headset is turned 
on.

By turning the headset on, it may 
connect to the handset automatically. 
In addition, if the headset 
automatically connects to an outside 
line, press {ic} on the handset to 
hang up.
Deregistering a headset
A handset can cancel a registration of a 
Bluetooth headset.

After the headset is deregistered, 
the handset beeps and “Add new 
device”
 is displayed.

Operating a Bluetooth 
wireless headset
You can operate the call with your 
headset even if you place the handset 
on the charger during a call. If you place 
the handset on the charger while 
listening to recorded messages, the unit 
stops message playback and the display 
returns to standby mode.
