OCC will be releasing its ATEX/IECEx rated 
COTS-M83526™ and EZ-MATE receptacles to 
provide fiber optic connectivity within the  
hazardous locations of Zones 1 and 21.

meet safety requirements for ATEX
(Atmospheres Explosibles) Zone 1 (Gas)  
and Zone 21 (Dust). These requirements 
are based on directives from the European 
Union and IECEx (International 
Electrotechnical Commission Explosive) 
certification standards.
