12. Troubleshooting

ROBLEM

OSSIBLE REASON AND REMEDY

Unit does not power up

The battery may be not connected, or may be completely discharged.

ØOpen the battery access cover and verify that the battery is properly installed.
ØUse the external AC power adapter to operate the unit and simultaneously

charge the battery.

Please refer to Section 0 “Battery Charging and Replacement”

Unit generates a single “error”
beep tone, and the power LED
flashes RED once

ØThis is an indication that the internal battery is very low, and does not have

sufficient charge to run the unit at all.

ØPlug in the AC power adapter to charge the battery AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
