Appendix A.1.2. Setting Up Static IP Address

Assume you want to setup the following IP address for eH880 unit:

IP Address

192.168.1.100

Subnet Mask

255.255.255.0

Gateway :

192.168.1.1

1. Input the following command to setup the IP address:

# ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.100 netmask 255.255.255.0

2. Input the following command to setup the gateway:

# route add default gw 192.168.1.1 eth0
