What Do I Do if I Forget the Main or Guest Wi-Fi 
Password? 
To see the Main Wi-Fi password and Guest Wi-Fi password
1.  Look on the gateway’s label. 
2.  If you changed the Wi-Fi password and have forgotten what it is, use an Ethernet cable 
to connect a computer to one of the gateway’s yellow Ethernet LAN ports. 
3.  On a computer or wireless device that is connected to your gateway, launch a Web 
browser. 
4.  In the address or URL field of your browser, type http://myrouter.  
5.  When prompted to log in, enter admin for the user name and type the password. (The 
default password is password.) 
6. Click Wi-Fi > Options
What Do I Do if I Forget the Administrator (admin) 
Password? 
The default password is password. If you changed the password and enabled password 
recovery, you can recover your password. 
To recover a forgotten administrator (admin) password: 
1.  On a computer or wireless device that is connected to your gateway, launch a Web 
browser. 
2.  In the address or URL field of your browser, type http://myrouter  
3.  When you are prompted to login, click Cancel
Note:
 If password recovery is enabled, you are prompted to answer two security 
questions. 
4.  Enter the saved answers to the security questions. 
5.  Enter the serial number of your router. 
Note:
 The serial number is on the gateway’s label.
