The GSM and WCDMA services are supported by your phone. You can configure the network settings 
according to your phone service. 

Enable data roaming 

1. Tap 

  > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks. 

2. Select the Data roaming check box to enable data roaming. 

 

Switch the network mode 

1. Tap 

  > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Network Mode. 

2. Select GSM/WCDMA auto, WCDMA only, or GSM only to switch the network mode. 

 

Switch the network operators 

1. Tap 

  > Settings > Wireless & networks > GSM/UMTS Options > Network operators. 

2. Tap  Search networks  to set the network operator manually, or tap Select automatically  to set the 

network operator automatically. 

 

Set the Access Point Names 

You can use the default Access Point Names (APN) to connect to the internet. If you want to add a new 
APN, please contact your network operator to get detailed information. 

1. Tap 

Point Names. 

2. Tap Menu Key > New APN. 

3. Set the necessary parameters (see Getting Connected- Connecting to the Internet- GPRS/3G/Edge- Add 

a new GPRS/3G/EDGE connection.) 

4. Tap Menu Key > Save. 

 

You can protect your device and SIM card from unauthorized use. 

Set the screen unlock pattern 

You can protect your phone from unauthorized use by creating a personal screen unlock pattern.
