 documentation suite.

Definition
Hot-swappable
Hot-swappable components can be installed or removed 
while the system is running, without using any software 
commands. 
Hot-pluggable
Using the proper software commands, you can install or 
remove hot-pluggable components while the system is 
running.
FRU
Field-replaceable units must be removed and installed only 
by authorized Oracle service personnel.
CRU
Customer-replaceable units can be removed and replaced by 
any qualified service provider.
