Conditions of Sale and Product Warranty
d-Red and the Buyer agree to the following terms and 
conditions of Sale and Purchase:
1. The InsectDroids is guaranteed against defects in materials 
or workmanship for six months from the date of registered 
purchase. Any unit that is found to be defective will, at the 
discretion of d-Red, be repaired or replaced. This warranty 
does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of 
God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, 
or modification of or to any part of the product.
2. d-Red will not be responsible for the repair or replacement 
of any unit damaged by user modification, negligence, 
abuse, improper installation, or mishandling.
3. d-Red is not responsible to the Buyer for any loss or claim 
of special or consequential damages arising from the use of 
the product. The product must NOT be used in applications 
that could lead to physical harm or loss of human life. Buyer 
is responsible to conduct their own tests to meet the safety 
regulation of their respective industry.
4. Products distributed, but not manufactured by d-Red, carry 
the full original manufacturers warranty. Such products 
include, but are not limited to: power supplies, sensors, 
I/O modules.
5. d-Red reserves the right to alter any feature or specification 
at any time. This warranty is limited to the original 
purchaser and is not transferable.
Notes to Buyer: If you disagree with any of the above terms or 
conditions you should promptly return the unit immediately in 
new and unused condition to the manufacturer or distributor 
within 30 days from date of purchase for a full refund.

Troubleshooting
Unable to connect Bluetooth.
• Please ensure that only ONE of your iPod touch, 
iPhone or iPad is connected to your InsectDroid.
• Un-pair & delete profile on your iPod touch, 
iPhone or iPad Bluetooth connection in Settings > 
General > Bluetooth > Tap blue arrow icon > tap 
“Forget this Device” and re-pair.
My InsectDroids App doesn’t seem to be 
launching after I download it from the App Store.
• Delete the App completely from your iPod touch, 
iPhone or iPad and from your iTunes and re-
download the App.
My InsectDroid seems to be out of control or the 
controls are not responsive in the App.
• Please turn off your InsectDroid and completely 
exit your App by double clicking your Home 
Button > click and hold InsectDroids App till it 
jiggles > press the minus button > restart the App 
> turn on your InsectDroid and play again.
The battery losses charge fast.
• Please ensure that you give the battery a complete 
charge before use.
• Please ensure that you turn off the power on your 
InsectDroids when not in use.

Before attempting to control your 
InsectDroids, please ensure that 
you pair via Bluetooth.
Turn on your InsectDroids, and 
on your Device, go to Settings > 
General > Bluetooth > toggle switch 
to “On”.
Please note that Bluetooth uses a 
lot of your iPod touch, iPhone or 
iPad battery power. Be sure to turn 
off Bluetooth when you are not 
using it to conserve battery.

Battery Charging & Care
Warning: Lithium Ion or Lithium Polymer 
Rechargeable Batteries Inside (No Lithium Metal). 
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced with an 
incorrect type. Don’t open or puncture the 
batteries, short circuit, or expose to fire, high 
temperatures, or water. Keep batteries out of reach 
of children.
•  Li-Po batteries are significantly more volatile than 
the Alkaline, Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries used in RC 
applications. Mishandling of Li-Po batteries can 
result in a fire, personal injury, and/or property 
damage.
•  By handling, charging or using the included Li-Po 
battery you assume all risks associated with 
lithium batteries.
•  You must charge the included Li-Po battery in a 
safe area away from flammable materials.
•  When charging the battery you should always 
remain in constant observation to monitor the 
charging process and react to potential problems 
that may occur.
•  DO NOT USE A Ni-Cd or Ni-MH CHARGER. Failure 
to charge the battery with a compatible 5V 
charger may cause fire resulting in personal injury 
and/or property damage.
Please ensure that you have 
adequately charged your battery 
before play. When the unit is 
charging, the light on the USB cable 
will be RED, and turns off when 
fully charged. Please ensure that 
the power switch is turned off 
when charging.
InsectDroids charges using the 
USB cable included when you 
purchased. Connect the USB Cable 
to your Mac or PC or a 5V charger 
to charge.
InsectDroids App Download
Upon successfully pairing your InsectDroids with 
your device the first time, you will be prompted 
to download the free InsectDroids App. Tap Yes to 
connect to the iTunes store and download the App.
Alternatively the InsectDroids App can be 
downloaded manually through the App Store or 
entering the following URL on your internet browser

Battery Charging & Care
The battery won’t charge
• Please ensure that you 
correctly connected 
the charger to your 
InsectDroid.
• If you are charging from 
your keyboard, please 
ensure it has a high-
powered USB 2.0 port.
