re Out Of Your Phone
Using Sync
You can synchronize your phone and SIM
address book entries, calendar events, and tasks
with another phone, computer, or hand-held
device using a cable connection, or with an
Internet server using an over-the-air (OTA) connection.
Using a Cable Connection
Notes:
• To transfer data between your phone and computer,
you must install the software included with the
Motorola Original data kit. See the data kit user’s
guide for more information.
• You can synchronize data between your phone
and external device with BVRP mobile PhoneTools
software, an accessory for Motorola phones. See
the mobile PhoneTools user’s guide for more
information.
BVRP mobile PhoneTools software is designed to
synchronize with basic features of many popular
Personal Information Management (PIM) software
and hardware products.
• Due to a known Microsoft® Windows® USB driver
issue, a computer running Windows 2000 with
Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 will not recognize a
memory card (SD card) inserted into your phone
when you attempt to transfer or synchronize data
between your phone and computer through a USB
cable connection.
