PC supports Bluetooth and has the correct 
drivers installed.

Motorola mobile PhoneTools software 
includes a PC modem application that 
makes it easy to use your phone as a 
modem, and to set up a USB cable 
connection without first having to activate 
your phone’s modem application.

Tap , Modem in the application launcher 
screen to see the modem status screen. 
When your phone shows Status: Ready, it’s ready 
to be used as a standard PC modem.

send data call

 

Open the application (such as 
dial-up-networking) on your PC, and place 
the call through the application.

You cannot dial data numbers on your 
phone’s keypad. You must dial them 
through the PC.

When data transfer is complete, end the 
call from the connected PC to close the 
connection.

receive data call

 

Your phone notifies you when the data call 
arrives, and transfers the call to the 
connected PC. Use the application 
running on the PC to answer the call.

When the data transfer is complete, end

the connection.

stk

Your SIM card may contain additional 
SIM Toolkit (STK) applications that add 
features and functionality to your 
phone.
