1. General Description
The SA-33 is a handheld 5-button remote control that
works with existing wireless panels and expansions.

3. Operating Instructions
The SA-33 remote control is activated by pressing the
buttons on the unit, and transmitting this information to
the receiver panel.
As the SA-33 is a portable, wireless device, system
reception is dependent upon the conditions of use, as
follows.
Caution: AVOID using near or behind large metal
surfaces and multiple concrete/steel walls. This may
interfere or block the wireless signals. Make sure to test
the range from the desired location by using the RF Test
Procedure to ensure reception.
Caution: AVOID placing the SA-33 near strong magnetic
or electrical fields other than the magnet with which it is
intended to be used. Otherwise, performance can be
affected, and false alarms can occur.
Important Note: When the detector range is decreased
as a result of depleted battery power, replace the
battery with the same type of battery immediately.
3.1. Registration
Before using the SA33 transmission information, it should
be directed to the relevant panel. Please refer to the
Panel manual for more information on the registration
process. The device group consist of remotes, and the
information is transferred by pressing one of the keys.
3.2. Using the Remote Control
The SA-33 has five buttons.
Use the buttons to operate the remote control, as
described in the table below.

4. Replacing the Battery
To replace the batteries when needed, follow the
procedure below:
1. Use a Phillips head screw driver to loosen the screw
on the battery cover (see Figure 1), located on the
bottom side of the remote control.
2. Replace the battery with the same type of battery,
with the positive (+) side facing up.
3. Close the battery cover, and tighten the screw using
the screw driver.
4. Dispose of the old battery properly; do not incinerate,
heat, disassemble, or recharge.
