through the Teknet extranet. 
 
Important:  The WORKABOUT PRO G2 with the RFID option must not be held closer than 20 cm 
from the rest of the body.
 
This product must not be used in a holster or on a belt-clip. 
 
Easily installable expansion modules for the WORKABOUT PRO allow you to customise this hand-held to 
meet your specific mobile computing requirements. This chapter outlines how to install the RFID Module 
UHF-CA2-A5 (this module is composed of one RFID Coupler UHF-CA2 and RFID Antenna UHF-A5). 
Before installing a module in the WORKABOUT PRO G2, all power sources must be turned off. 
 
•  Remove the batteries. If your unit is using AC power, disconnect it. 
•  Stick the FCC / IC Label 
(FCC ID: GM3UHFCA2A5, IC ID: 2739D-UHFCA2A5) 
underneath the battery.

•  Slide the switch to position OFF to shut off internal battery power. 
 
 
 
With the power shut down, you can install the RFID Module UHF-CA2-A5-G2. 
 
•  Remove and discard the two screws on the bottom of the metal frame. 
 
 
 
•  Put the RFID Coupler UHF-CA2 in the same alignment of the expansion connector on the 
WORKABOUT PRO G2. Apply slight pressure to snap the module into place on the hand-held. 
 
•  Use four new screws (M2 x 6 mm) provided to secure the module in place.
