VeriFone ships variants of the V

810 for different markets. Your device may have 

a different configuration. Additionally, these variants can be ordered with different 
options.

This SD card slot on the V

x

810 also serves as an SDIO expansion port for 

installing an optional SDIO contactless module used for contactless smart card 
transactions.

To install the SDIO contactless module:

Place the device facedown on a soft, clean surface to protect the lens from 
scratches.

Insert the SD card of the RFID canopy into the SD card slot of the V

x

810.

Install the metal plate onto the back of the RFID canopy and V

x

810. Use the 

locking screws to lock the metal plate into position.

Proper care to ensure that the contactless module is working properly includes:

Preventing the module from coming into contact with other metallic surfaces 
while in use.

Turning off the module when not in use.
