Bluetooth headset should be used with the compatible 
devices which support Bluetooth wireless technology. 
This allows you to make two calls and enjoy the music 
streaming at any time freely. 
Please read this user manual carefully before using the 
headset, and also read your device’s user manual 
regarding the Bluetooth function, and pay attention to 
those important safety and maintenance information. 
Please keep the headset away from children.

1. Prior to using the headset for the first time, please 
fully charge the battery. 
2. Approximately 2 hours are required to fully charge the 
headset. 
3. The indicator light turns red while being charged, and 
will turn blue automatically after being fully charged. 
4. When the headset is running out of battery, the 
indicator light will flash red (the headset will switch off 
automatically when the battery is drained). Please 
charge the headset as above steps in time to prolong the 
battery's useful life (Charging indication will be delayed 
for a few minutes if the headset has not been used for a 
long time or the battery is drained). 

Note 1: Check the charging device is suit to the headset. 
Note 2: Use only the supplied charger to charge the headset, or   

obey the validation for this product or the maintenance   
article and could be dangerous.   

Note 3: Do not attempt to force open the built‐in battery as this   

could damage the headset. 

Note 4: If left unused, a fully charged headset will loose its 
power   

automatically. It is recommended to charge the headset   
each three months.   

Note 5:Do not leave the headset in a too hot or too cold 
condition   

(best between ‐10℃  and 50℃) which may affect the   
headset's operations although it is fully charged. 

Note 6: Do not dispose of the headset into a fire or water. 

 
Turning on the Headset 

In OFF MODE, press and hold Microphone play key for 3 
seconds, until you hear “Power on”, the indicator light 
turns blue for 1 second, then the headset will enter into 
ON MODE. 
 

In ON MODE (except call state), press and hold 
Microphone play key for 3 seconds, until you hear 
“Power off”, the indicator light turns red for 1 second, 
then the headset will enter into OFF MODE. 
Note: Headset isn’t connected with any devices within   

20 minutes, it will automatically turn off. 
 

1. Ensure the headset is off, and the distance between your 
headset and phone is within 1 meter to activate the Bluetooth 
function on the phone.   
2. Press and hold 

 until the indicator 

light flashes blue and red alternately and could hear “pairing” as 
PAIRING MODE.   
3. Search Bluetooth devices (see the user guide of your phone 
for instructions). 
4. Select headset “BTH816RU” from the found devices list of the 
phone.   
5.After waiting for a few seconds, could hear “paired”, then 
could hear “your phone is connected”.(If the pairing cannot be 
completed within 5 minutes after the PAIRING MODE has been 
activated, the headset will enter into the STANDBY MODE. Please 
repeat above steps to do the pairing again). 
6. Ensure the distance between your headset and phone is 
within effective distance; you can use the headset freely. 
7. When the headset is off, it will connect the paired phone 
automatically if you turn on the headset again within operation 
range. 
Note: When the mobile phone Bluetooth version below 2.1, it 
need to enter pairing code “0000”; 
When the mobile phone Bluetooth version 2.1 or exceed 2.1, it 
don’t need to enter the pairing code. 

When a call is coming, you can answer it with the ways 
as follows: 
Method 1: Press Microphone play key once. 
Method 2: Answer the call with your phone. 

You can end the call you are answering with the ways as 
follows: 
Method 1: Press Microphone play key once. 
Method 2: End the call with your phone. 

 
Rejecting A Call 

Press and hold Microphone play key for 2 seconds to 
reject the call.
