If you fully charged the batteries, but the operating time seems to be 
short, wipe the battery ends (S, T) and the unit contacts with a dry 
cloth.

Base unit:
Press and hold {x} (LOCATOR) until the registration tone sounds.

If all registered handsets start ringing, press {x} (LOCATOR) to 
stop, then repeat this step.

After the base unit beeps, the rest of the procedure must be 
completed within 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Handset:
Press {OK}, then wait until a beep sounds and w stops flashing.

Push the joystick up or down to select “Change language” i
