Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and keypad are backlit after
any key press is made.

Dim Only, Always On, or a preset length of time setting and press MENU/OK.
Note: The Always On setting returns to the previous value next time you turn on the phone.
To change the Keypad Light setting:
1. Select MENU/OK > Settings > Display > Keypad Light
2. Select Always Off or a preset length of time and press MENU/OK.
Note: Long backlight setting affects the battery’s talk and standby times.
Changing the Contrast
This feature allows you to change the light level on the Main Screen.
To change the light level on the Main Screen:
1. Select
MENU/OK > Settings > Display > Contrast.
2. Select
Highest, High, Medium, Low, or Lowest.
Changing the Display Screen Animation
Your new PCS Phone offers animation for what you see on the display screen during standby
mode, Outgoing Calls, or Service Search.

To assign the animation:
