The G7SDC (Secure Display Controller) is a device for presenting both secured and open information,
and for receiving customer selections during transaction processing. Its design is intended to comply
with applicable security certification requirements of the Payment Card Industry (PCI). The G7SDC is
intended to operate in conjunction with the G7UPC (Unified PIN pad / Card-reader) and an external
application host.

The SDC is a highly secure device. However, some of its security features are reliant on the method of
installation; therefore please pay careful attention to the requirements outlined in this document.
